Electronic Signature Woes

Share

Dear England, so I'm filling out my academic job applications using a spiffy online system called http://www.interfolio.com/. It gathers all your academic application bumpf - all those transcripts, professor recommendations, teaching materials, CV - into one central location. All well and good.

The most amusing and defeating aspect, however, is creating an "online signature" using a device so simple and familiar as...the mouse. Oh dear. Ever tried to write your signature with the mouse? It's a cross between comical and impossible! Just when you think you've got it, you distrously find your name has been written by a 3 year-old!
